Home Sweet Home

This is the week we’ve been looking forward to for so long and it was well worth the wait. The excitement started on Tuesday July 31st. We had the walk-through at 8:00 and the closing at 9:00. Everything went smoothly as evident by Henry’s enthusiasm...

After the closing Daddy and Pam met us for lunch in our new house and soon after that we painted! The big tasks were the master bedroom and the downstairs bath. Daddy and Chris tackled the master while I took charge of the bathroom. Mom showed up shortly after we started and she decided to take on the cleaning and damn did she clean! Take a look at my amazing parents.

We've also had lot's of visitors this week. All of my parents have come to visit a number of times, Mom and Dad C were here for the day on Tuesday, Mark and Jules came by to help with the pre-move and to paint. My baby brother came by to put his muscles to use on pre-move day and his girlfriend (Gen with a G) joined us for dinner (thanks for the utensils Gen!). My amazing cousins Red and Bean also stopped by on their way to the hospital and my sister J and our niece Ms. S even stopped by for a quick visit and some birthday cake with Mom. Shorty and her new beau stopped by for the grand tour on Sunday and we certainly can't foget these two visitors

Thanks to everyone who has helped to make this such an amazing experience.
Stay tuned for Henry's blog on our long, unsuccessful journey to become residents of our new state - sigh...
